Cup	Symbol of shared intention, welcome, and communal participation; no specific beverage is required.
Open Table	Symbol and doctrine of hospitality.
Empty Chair	Reminder to preserve capacity for the stranger and newcomer.
Second Loaf	Doctrine of stewardship and provision for the future.
Perpetual Feast	The institutional practice of preserving and investing Church resources for future mission.
Returning Smile	Restoration of some capacity for life, connection, or joy without denial of grief.
Holy Foolishness	Voluntary harmless ridiculousness practiced against vanity and fear of embarrassment.
Mending of the Cup	Reconciliation discipline following harm.
Offering of the Jest	Voluntary portion of worship in which participants contribute humor, story, poetry, or comic observation.
Minute of Necessary Seriousness	Liturgical recognition that grief and hardship remain welcome within a religion of mirth.
Laughter Archive	The Church’s growing body of original and appropriately attributed humorous religious literature.
