Preparation
Reserve or symbolize one place for the stranger, newcomer, absent friend, or future guest.
When food insecurity or hardship is part of the ministry, avoid performative publicity involving recipients.

Online Adaptation
For an online communal meal, participants may eat from their own homes. The host can invite each person to name one act of hospitality they intend to practice.
