Privacy & Records

Public faith does not require public personal records.

Iambe.org publishes institutional activity. Membership files, attendance identities, financial records, pastoral notes, and applications belong in private Church records rather than a public GitHub repository.

Public records may include

  • Gathering date, title, speaker, doctrine, and summary
  • Aggregate attendance counts
  • Public sermons, transcripts, and recordings
  • Published Laughter Archive material
  • Public clergy names and roles when authorized

Private records should include

  • Member names, emails, and applications
  • Detailed attendance rosters
  • Orientation acknowledgments
  • Pastoral or disciplinary records
  • Receipts, reimbursements, asset-use logs, and compensation records

How these forms work

The onboarding forms on this static version of Iambe.org run in your browser. They generate text that you choose to copy, download, or send. Unless the Church later adds a separate form-processing service, the website itself does not maintain a membership database.

Do not upload completed member applications, attendance rosters, pastoral records, or other personal records to the public GitHub repository.
